It’s not often we have true, holy-grail vintage pieces of KISS memorabilia in stock! This 1978 KISS Aucoin sleeping bag has been in the private collection of one of our staffers for more than 20 years. She purchased it from its original owner in 1997. This sleeping bag’s previous owner is a friend of hers, who got it as a child in the 1970s. The sleeping bag has been kept in a smoke-free home on a closet shelf in the dark away from UV exposure. Colors are vivid.

This item is not new. It is in good condition. There is minor wear throughout, and tiny wear holes in spots. (If you’ve never handled this sleeping bag, you’ll be surprised at how thin the outer fabric actually is. It is a child’s bag designed for indoor sleep, not a high-loft outdoor sleeping bag.) Some of the black stitch quilting has loosened and lifted over the years.

We have tried to photograph every less-than-perfect detail of this 40+year-old sleeping bag.

Bag is about 30″ x 57″ unrolled.  The original “Do not remove under penalty of law” tag was removed by the original owner as it hangs over the opening one would climb into to sleep. Zipper works fine.
